About Us > Discovery Does your need a little extra help to excel in the classroom?       Educational therapy through the Everett Christian School Discovery is a supplementary program established to help students with learning difficulties who have experienced frustration and/or failure in the classroom. The program accredited by the National Institute of Learning Disabilities (N.I.L.D.), uses intervention techniques in a one-to-one educational setting, for two 80-minute sessions weekly. The focus of the intense individual sessions is on continual stimulation and development of the deficit areas of perception, basic skills, and problem solving (cognition).
